al-Qaeda Video DVD: Knowledge is for Action: The Manhattan Raid.  This contains the 91'40" video from al-Qaeda's as-Sahab Media enititled "Knowledge is for Action: The Manhattan Raid". Excerpts from the video were first aired on al-Jazeera on 7 Sep. 2006. The production date is Sep. 2006 and it has English subtitles. The video shows footage of Azzam al-Amriki, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden, Ramzi bin al-Shibh and others. It also contains the last will and testament of 9-11 hijackers Hamza al-Ghamdi and Wail al-Shihri. The only material that appears to be recorded around the time of its production is the narration from an unknown speaker and video comments by Azzam al-Amriki (a.k.a. Adam Gahdan). The most substantial portion of Osama bin Laden's speaking is taken from him talking to trainees and contains a number of interesting insights into his interaction with trainees, past operations and preparations taken in advance of the 9-11 attack in order to prepare for the US response. English translations of Arabic text where it appears have been added by IntelCenter. The only other changes made to the video were those done to enhance the audio and video where possible. The DVD has a video index for use in briefings and training. It plays on any standard DVD player in any region. It is encoded for NTSC players and contains Dolby Digital 2.0 audio.
